Room-Set Photography
There are several variables that go into room-set photography.
One of the most important keys is the lighting. In this photo, we are looking at each shot to make sure it shows the product in the best light possible and it’s what the customer is requesting – which in this case, a very bright daytime sun works best. With each move of a light stand comes a new shadow that may or may not be a problem in that it may take your eye away from the product.
You also want to hide anything that doesn’t need to show, such as lamp cords, to prevent less time spent on the post-production in Photoshop.
And overall, the best practice is always that the cleaner the shot, the better.
